Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Tour Finder ("we", "the app", available at tour-finder.app) collects, why, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Account details (only if you create an account): your email address and a password. Your password is stored only as a salted cryptographic hash — we never store or see your actual password.
Your app content: the country you select, the artists you save, and the events you favourite. This is stored so it syncs across your devices when you are logged in.
Basic technical data: standard server logs and a short-lived request count used to prevent abuse (rate limiting). We do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking.

If you use the app without creating an account, your country, artists, and saved events stay only on your device (in your browser) and are not sent to us.

How we use it

To provide the core service: searching for and showing tour dates.
To let you log in and sync your saved data across devices.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

How we share it

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Tour date information is retrieved from the Ticketmaster Discovery API; "Get tickets" links take you to the ticket provider's own site, which has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data storage & security

Data is stored on secured servers (hosted by Render), transmitted over HTTPS, and passwords are hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and all its synced data at any time: open Tour Finder, log in, and choose Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your email, password hash, and saved data from our servers. You can also email us (below) to request deletion.

Children

Tour Finder is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
